To be really honest Pete for me it was simply a matter of drawing a line at a certain price range and forcing myself to stick to it. It is really easy to get caught in the old "its only $1500 for the extra horsepower...over the life of the tractor..." I'm sure you know the story. I decided that I wanted a good strong tractor and set a price limit for what I was looking for. The 2710 (as GlueGuy as stated) is very similar to the 2410 but it put the total over my budget. I decided to stick with the 2410. So far I'm pleased with it and I think either would have done a great job at my place. I haven't felt like I needed the extra horsepower yet, but I've only had it for a year and a half. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
