The clutch is a normal Ford clutch. The kubota flywheel had to have the bolt holes machined in for mounting the pressure plate. The center hole in the flywheel had to be enlarged a small amount for the pilot bearing. There is a guy that makes the adapter plate for the 5 speed transmission. This was done by the owner of the truck. I can probably get the name from him. The bell housing had to have a small part cut out to allow for clearance for the starter. I moved the engine mount locations down and to the rear on the crossmember. Bought a rectangular pan and cut some of it out to fit around the crossmember. Made a plate to weld onto the pan to make the shape of the crossmember. Drilled a hole in the block and installed a chevy small block dipstick. Using the ford mount for the air conditioning and power steering. Cut a lot of it away to fit it to the side of the engine. Built a tensioner for the belt. No turbo yet. He bought one but we are going to try the truck without it. Drove it the other day for the first time. It gets to about 65 MPH at around 2400 RPM. Sure wish it would wind up a little further. Any ideas on getting more rpm out of it????

Also, Kansas is 75 on the interstate now. The owner of the truck drives it every day to work and back. Also, we all know that driving the speed limit is not common anymore. If he is doing 75, he will be the slow traffic. Ha ha

75 MPH is the highest legal interstate speed in the USA. Montana used to have no speed limit; but the dam Feds held up highway funds in exchange for a lower speed limit.

In the western part of the country away from urban centers, the speed limits should be higher yet.

Montana's state supreme court invalidated the law allowing unlimited speeds, not the Feds.

Here is another picture of the engine with the pullies all lined up and waiting for the belt. custom tensioner is from a 2.0L 1989 pontiac sunbird. Modified the mounting bolt locations and changed the pulley to ride on the back of the belt. The picture does not show the belt in place. I put it on the next day. The exhaust is not shown either, but I decided to run the exhaust from the driver side, over the valve cover, and down beside the engine on the passenger side.

Whats the HP rating on that kubota engine, and @ what rpm is it rated?

Right at 22HP at 1400 RPM, 40 HP at 2800 RPM. Here is a web page to look up the specs.
