i think it’s a really good price considering todays market … before covid i payed 30K for a massey 2015, 60hp @ 600h

I do not know in what year the SSQA standard (Skid Steer Quick Attach) was adopted by the tractor industry. The Kubota you are contemplating may or may not have SSQA, permitting one minute change from an FEL bucket to FEL pallet forks.

Inquire of the dealer about interchangeability between bucket and pallet forks generally. With clamp on (as opposed to SSQA) pallet forks, sooner or later a timber will roll over the bucket and over the tractor hood...... You are welcome to visit and see my hood dents. The incident did not kill me, but it could have.

I am looking at a Kubota L2501 with pinned loader bucket configuration.

I did this conversion on my L3200 which shares the same front loader.

You'd need the Kubota Quick Coupler, Wholegoods part # L2216, which lets you connect to any SSQA attachments.

You can either convert your existing front bucket to SSQA with a weld-on plate ($100-150, plus a lot of grinding and welding) or buy the Kubota SSQA bucket for the L series, Wholegoods part # L2256.

I recall paying about $450 for the coupler and about $600 for the bucket.

Any Kubota dealer can order these parts through the Kubota Wholegoods catalog. Most dealers will keep both items in stock under normal situations, but inventory has been wacky for the last year due to Covid and supply chain issues. My dealer had the bucket in stock but I had to wait about 30 days for the coupler.



As of 12/28/2021 Kubota parts are flowing to dealers almost normally.

This may or may not continue.

Disk Harrows and PTO-powered rototillers are both soil mixing implements.

Few here would purchase both.

If you have an adjustable Box Frame Disk Harrow most would follow a final adjustment of the Disk gang angles with a relatively cheap Chain Harrow or Spike Harrow.

Less rigid angle-iron Disk Harrows are rarely adjustable.
