Kubota Warranty - Thumbs up!!

B2410 - 2 years old - 83 hours. Local Kubota dealer cheerfully pick up the tractor and removed and replaced both rear axle seals (where the axles exit the transmission) due to leaking. The dealer delivered the tractor 2 days later (in time for the weekend). I did not purchase the tractor from this dealer. Dealer had tractor fixed within 1 day (they had the parts in stock).

Only charge was $37.50 each way for the pickup/delivery.

Steele tractor in Colorado Springs is highly recommended.

Oh yeah, Kubota is also highly recommended, but I am preaching to the choir on that point. Tom Sieper at Kubota really helped with this issue. Super customer service with great follow up and follow through.

One of the common points that I make on this board is that while I think a lot of Kubota equipment, I think that a decent local dealer is just as important as the brand (color) of tractor that someone purchases.

I hate to hear that your Kubota had problems, but glad to hear that it was taken care of to your satisfaction. More importantly, I'm glad that you have had a positive experience with your dealer.

No doubt a local dealer relationship is important, but at what cost? I went up and down the Colorado front range begging the dealers to match or at least get in the neighborhood of my quote from Dunn, NC. I was willing to pay $200-400 for a close local dealer relationship. I was not willing to pay $1000.00+ for one.

That $1000.00 will pay for a bunch of pickups and deliveries and had I had a bad experience with the dealer, Kubota would have heard about it.

Ain't free enterprise grand?? Maybe I am just too cheap....

Rocky, starting to come around to your way of thinking. Just today I was given a quote on an L3130 that was 2500 dollars more than the HIGHEST price I have read about anyone on this board paying for the same model and that high price had extras this one did not. The price was also 5000 dollars more than the quote I just receieved for a Kioti DK35. No, not the same tractor, Bigger. For five thousand dollars I can buy a trailer tell the kids and Wife it's time to take a vacation and pick up a tractor on the way.
