It may be alright for back dragging with the bucket but I wouldn't want to dig with it in the folded position. You could probably get some material packed in between toothbar and inside of bucket quite easily depending on material. A toohbar is a great tool for the price.
YES thats true,i would only flip it up to do alot of back dragging.Afew more wrench turns and i could simply remove it.In fact its already off the tractor[unused],dont want it on there for snow removal

There are two things I would suggest with the Markham teeth. They are very tough (much tougher than the FEL bucket itself. I would well a small plate where the hole is drilled through the side of the bucket to avoid tearing the plate (sorry, I could not find a picture of mine)

Also, because they are so aggressive, don't turn your back on your kids for minute .... This yard was all finished and in the same time it too me to go to the bathroom, look what my kids and these teeth did to my front yard!

I'd suggest installing some big flat washers on both sides (inside and outside of bucket). The slots in the toothbar always seem to get jammed with mud. As far as back blading, I use the heel of the bucket whenever possible, it does a much better job (for me at least).

Congrats on your new teeth. They work incredibly well on these smaller machines. I wish that I had known about markam when I ordered my machine. I think that I paid approx $100 more for the Woods chompers.

Markham sends two 3/8" thick reinforcing plates along with their toothbars. They intend for you to weld them on the outside of the bucket to reinforce the attachment hole on either side. If you install these plates, you will not have any issues with the hole being torn. Stan

I thought about the safety police and hesitated to post the pic. Needless to say the distance that I took the picture from was the farthest away from them that I got. In a perfect world, letting them drive/ride it is not the best of ideas, but having the throttle just over idle in turtle mode I felt pretty safe (especially after they both just got off 90cc kid 4-wheelers ... and yes they were wearing helmets)
