One end of the cylinder is 0.375" too large.
The animal wants to grind the extra off. The gentleman want to mill it down.
What do you say?

What he’s trying to say is, hydraulics have a lot of pressure and can inject fluid through your skin without puncturing it. I have heard it’s a painful way to die; at the very least you can lose a limb very quickly.
Don’t mess around with hydraulic leaks.
Ive known three people trying to save an arm for over a year. Because oil or grease injected in finger or hand. It's a bad deal.

Promise, I will be careful.
Called a machinist to mill some off the cylinder cross tube ends.
Guy says he is booked for a year.

New cylinder installed, needed to stretch a hose 2" but it was cracked anyway, $35.
Now to figure out why it will not start.

Started after moving the pto switch a bit. Happy, happy.

Do I have to drain the air out of the hydraulic lines after replacing the cylinder?
