So I've decided on a mower(I think). I'm going to go with the Kubota Z411 48" cut with the 22hp Kawi motor. Makes more sense for me instead of the 100 series as I'm sure my base will grow as time goes on. Also getting a **** of a deal as my dad bought a lot of mowers and tractors from the dealer while he had his business. My question is does anyone here have a Z411 and how do you like it? Pros/Cons? Thanks in advance.

I did a hard look at the 411's. For me, my physical frame, 6'2 195, just did not agree with the seat. Other than that, and the deck size, deck gauge combo, the mower looked really good for the price and make-up. I also thought the SmartPhone holder, charger was weird. Not sure I'd have my electronics with me in the open when mowing.

It's a step up from the 100 series, a nice step at that.

Yea the phone holder is a lil weird but I see where they are going with it. Long day of mowing you can keep it charged. I'm 5'10 230 and the seat didn't bother me much even with my hip knife and such. I basically got it for the price of a z125e so even if I find something to complain about, I won't. Lol. There isn't many review videos out there for it which is why I asked here(z421 is all I could find). Thanks for the reply.

They are too new. Heck, one I looked at was still in the crate. The other just rolled out of the "assembly" shop. I have had good luck with new Kubota products and models, so that was not a concern. It was just a wee bit smaller than what I figured I could use. Keep us posted on how it goes!

Good luck with it.

I have a 2017 z411 and it runs and cuts well but it is a 48" cut - - one problem is the anti scalp roller brackets are a poor design and tend to fold over when you turn on an incline.
The 54" has a better bracket and should perform better. My dealer was great and I upgraded to the 54" bracket at their expense. price wise, it compares to most mowers but if I had an unlimited budget I would go with a pivoting front axle, the wheels come off the ground on uneven turf on mine but it really doesn't affect the cut that much.
