Kubota ZD25 zero turn mower with safety switch problems!

First I have looked at the elect. schematic to find the location of all the switches, but how in the heck do you even get to them to check them?
Mower starts fine if I disconnect the wire to the solenoid and jump across the hot to the spade.
Help the newbie!

the motion control lever (neutral) switches are accessible from under the fenders. The PTO switch is behind the PTO lever-easy. The brake switch is under the floorboard inside the C-channel frame rail, IIRC and a pain to get to. It's usually the pto switch or the OPC controller. Rarely the brake switch or either of the 2 neutral switches.
