Many thanks for the heads up on the air filter. I'm a bit **** when it comes to equipment maintenance so will keep a close watch --- helps prevent future problems. Kubota stuff is usually very expensive so will go with the Wix if possible.

I think your ZD331 has the two-filter system. You probably could clean the larger outermost filter a time or two before replacing. My dealer recommends on those running the single large air filter, to always just replace it and not take any chances. I've personally saw 2 ZD machines getting engine replacement/or rebuilds due to lack of maintenance of air filters. I generally replace the air filter twice a year - cheap insurance. I'll have to check the the Wix cross-reference myself, thanks for the note!
