Please be so kind as to indicate all the correct torque settings for a Kuboto L295: Cylinder Head Bolts; Big Ends; Mains; In fact, if possible, please supply all torque settings and pertinent information when overhauling an L295 3cyl diesel engine. Your valid information will be most appreciated. Thanks. Wally Cracknell. Durban. RSA. sts@neomail.co.za

This thread subject probably won't get you the responses you need. It sounds like you need the service manual for your model which would have all of that information and lots more.

Guys, aren't some or all of these manuals, or at least the basic data available on line?

If you could generate more traffic on this thread, somebody would be glad to assist with either the information or a link to a website with online data.

Best I've seen is parts and owners manuals posted at Kubotabooks.com, but never any service manuals. If he's lucky, someone with one of those for his model will trip over this, look them up in his manual, and post it for him. The thread title is of little help unfortunately. If it had the model number in the title, it might help get the attention of other owners of his model.

I could post some torque values and tightening sequences BUT you need a lot more than that, Like the others have said you need a WSM for that engine.
You can also find them on Ebay, your engine is the D1301-A. KennyV

Thanks. Wally Cracknell. Durban. RSA.

Hi Wally, I was in Durban last January, stayed right on the ocean for a few days. Went up to the Drakensburgs and then over to a number of game preserves and St Lucia. What a country, can't wait to come back. Hopefully things settle down politically. Good luck with your engine.

There are workshop manuals for the 3 cyl engines in the 'Engines' folder at Kubotabooks.com

You'll find torque settings in there.
Perfect! Kubotabooks the real answer. Thank you. You have been most helpful! Have a joyous festive season and a wonderful New Year.

Our political problems are not as bad as the media would like you to think. Although some of our political heads are total idiots- not at George W Bush's alltime high- there are a few capable souls that wont allow the complete disintergration of our country.
I am appalled at the extreme price of Kubota replacement parts in SA. eg., engine gasket kit @ almost $700.00 US.(R5000.00) I can effect a major engine overhaul on a Nissan Diesel for the same price! Kubota certainly do not wish to ezpand their mediocre product in SA.
Please, when you are next in SA, feel free to contact me. -mobile ..829028797
Have a super festive season and a wonderful New Year.
