Just put a Boss V plow on my 1100. We haven't had much snow yet but for what we have had it works great. I have a 2000 foot drive and large parking area. I found a thread on this forum that works great. Buy a 4' X 6' horse stall mat from Tractor Supply ($40.00) cut a strip 1' X 6' off the mat cut that into 2 three foot by one foot pieces. Sandwich those strips between the plow cutter blade and the plow it self. Let it hang down below the cutter blade about 3 or 4 inches. I cut the mat with a sawsall and drilled the holes with a spade bit.It works great at not digging into the gravel and pushing the gravel into the lawn. But still does a great job at pushing the snow.
I sort of did the same thing with a machine belt...I welded a piece of 2" x 3x8 steel into a 6 ft piece, drilled it out and sandwiched the belt between that and the cutting bar...It works great on paved and gravel driveways..minimizes gravel pickup..Helps if the gound is frozen up a bit.
Nice thing is, once the belt wears out, all I have to do is flip it over for a new edge..
