Yeh I found some specs on deere.com for the 40 loader (for the 4x5) tractors and the lift capacity to full height is only 215 lbs (350 to 36"). Very weak. Also I finally got some literature in the mail for the Kwikway loaders. It doesn't list lift capacity, but they have 2" cylinders and most of them use a separate front PTO driven pump. As expected by the time you add in the cost of the separately priced bucket (and something for shipping) they would be well over $3k. I still haven't been able to find any info on the 44 loader that was for 420's and am thinking they are VERY rare. I've been searching over on weekendfreedommachines.com and found some generally uncomplimentary comments about the kwikway products, but most owners of the johnnybucket scoops seemed satisfied. Since I have another tractor with loader the much cheaper scoop option is looking attactive at this point.
