L 2550 worth $7,500 ???

Guys - Would the below be worth $7,500?

A Kubota L 2550 Tractor with A BF 400G Front loader in very GOOD condition has 2650 hours runs excellent - Shuttle shift - tires have some weather cracks.


The top of the Loader bucket looks to be a little bent - How many more hours would this tractor normally go?

Is there like a Blue book value for these things?

I see there is a blue book value for these things but I don't find one on-line.

And I don't have 4 days to wait for Amazon.com to send me one.

My guess is the tractor is worth the money - But I hesitate to guess when I'm spending thousands of dollars.

I think it's Iron classified.com. You can get a price on equip.there. I have a L2550 GST with loader that I bought new. I wouldn't sell it for that.

I tried out the site and it said it was worth $4,500

I don't believe that - I wonder if that was what a dealer would give for it.

I tried to print it out and then it wouldn't let me.

Well, I went and looked at it and he wanted $8,500 for it - Opening bid was $7500 on ebay - And it just didn't look like it was worth the money to me - I think I can the same horse power in a Yanmar with a new Koyker loader on it for $7500.

You don't say if you have the 2WD (F) or the 4WD version (DT).

The L2550DT was my first tractior and it was excellent. In good
shape w/loader and 4WD, you can get $7500 around here for one,
easy. 2WD and FEL, maybe $5K.

DFK - It was 4WD - He wasn't sure what year it was - And it had some welding on it - I think it'd been used fairly hard.

I just paid 7500 for a L2350DT w/ finishing mower and disc harrow.
It only had 200 hrs on it as well.
I wouldn't sell it for what i paid - worth EVERY penny.

Jon, was that from a dealer or did you find an ad?

The L2550 was made aprox 85-90 and had a 1.5-liter 29.5hp
engine. The early GST trans was avail on the later ones. That
is a big plus. Weight was around 2700# naked, as I recall. FEL
might have added 900-1000 lb.
