I don't believe Kubota would want you to vary from their service schedule, except if you changed fluids MORE rather than LESS frequently.
Without igniting any oil debate, using the synthetic gives me piece of mind for the $$$$$ investment I have in my tractors & truck.
The motor oil capacity of the BX2200 is 3+ qts, the L-39 is 6 qts.
That cost for syn. is minimal vs. petroleum oil. Rotella Syn 5-40 was around $13 gal last oil change.
Hydro fluid capacity for the BX is 4 gal, the L-39 is 12+ gal.
This cost adds up quicker, but the hydro fluid is changed less frequently. S-UDT was $13-$15 gal my last purchase
As stated in many posts here, the oil lubricates but the additives wear out over time. The oil also accumulates contaiminates.
Longer drain intervals would seem to call for extra filtration and a testing program. If you do a search on these topics, you'll find many members who follow these practices, and could give you advice.
