L 4400 What's your opinion?

And of course, it's not always muddy, and I could choose when not to use it.

I think you have decided to go ahead and buy. If you pick your times, it should work fine.

The only time I use 4wd in our two tractors, is with loader work. Or if I have to back up a wet hill with the loader on.

Take the loader off and I just don't need 4wd at all for bush hoggin and rarely for box blade work, unless draggin a full box uphill. FEL adds a lot of weight to the front, which takes weight off the rear.

I would actually prefer a dedicated 2wd rig for mowing.

BTW, L4400 is a fine tractor! :thumbsup:
