I'm still a bit unclear on the procedure for Regen (haven't had my first one yet). I swear I can read 3 different procedures on how to do it; one the dealer told me, one on the decal on the tractor, and one the manual says.

To the best of my knowledge, I think the regen light will start flashing and it will indicated the need to raise RPM's. I think the only action I need to take is to raise RPM's. On the decal, it says I need to press the flashing light indicating Regn. The manual doesn't say to press the button, or not to press the button, the dealer says to press the button once it starts flashing.

So hopefully not pressing the button is the right approach! Any guidance would be appreciated!!

No need to press any buttons UNLESS you want to stop it from occurring. AKA delay it.

If youre out working and its time for a regen, there will be (2) lights that come on. One solid and one blinking. Raise the rpm till the one light stops flashing and the regen light will stay on till its done. Once its done you can throttle down to your normal working rpm.

The buttons are only used to delay a regen or active a parked regen i believe.

On mine I have to run the RPM's up to 2500 and stay there until the light goes off.DO NOT SHUT THE TRAC OFF until regn is done. I have been told all kinds of bad thing happen if you shut it off. My was doing the regn around every 25 hours for the first 100 hours. It is important to always run your RPM's around 2000 when using it. After 100 hours I have been running mine around 2300 or more and it has made it not to go into regn as much. The last one it did was 60 hours between the regn

Have an L3400 bought new in 2010 with 1200 hrs. used for hauling boat trailers at our marina, blowing snow in winter and loader work around the marina. Needs the PTO cable before winter, think even with loaded tires and weight box is rear lite, but otherwise love the tractor!

I have a Grand L HST 3540 which I just can't say enough about it, Great Tractor for whatever task I have to do. Summer time it runs a Woods 72' RFM and does some landscape work. In winter on front either the HLA front blade or 72" HD bucket, on the rear either the 84" Land Pride back blade or the L2674 rear three point snow blower!

It should keep flashing telling you to increase RPM's. When you get back to tractor, take it out for a hi speed spin and the regen will take place.

First time tractor owner. Picked up a used 2001 Kubota L3010 with heated cab and a bunch of attachments in a straight trade for my travel trailer. So far it has been a beast of a workhorse.

Seems most people here own a BX series Kubota.
Any L series owners here? I'm a first time tractor owner with a nearly new(13 hours when I bought it)L3200. Any advice or suggestions?

Yes. Find your nearest BX and run it over. L's rule. My L4200 had 2000 hours on it when I got it. Now it has 2700 hours - I had to replace the starter, and that's all I've had to do for it in the 10 years I've owned it. In the meantime, I've done no less than $50,000 worth of work on my own properties with it.
