Its funny but when my tractor was at the shop getting fixed they had it parked next to a new one and I was really amazed at how much the paint had dulled over the years. Guess I should have waxed it more than once in ten years!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
No message on my machine when I got in tonight so I guess the dealer is still crunching the numbers. But I thought the same thing about the first dent, better someone else did it than me.
As far as replacing the tractor--I had planned at doing it at the end of this year (for taxes). No sense in me giving all to uncle sam. When leak happened that really steamed me and then to top things off I get it back and not only does the tach cable go but the oil pressure sending unit starts leaking as well. I can't afford alot of down time with my tractor. I can only do so much on the 8n compared to my Kubota. Now since I've fixed those two items it's run like a champ, and probley will for awhile she just had to show her butt alittle if you know what I mean.
This board has been a great help in many areas for me. The simple things alone that I've learned here and will continue to learn here are great, let alone the complex ones. If I had never been on this board I still would be going through the same process of buying a tractor and it would be a Kubota with out a doubt. Mine has been taxi tested tough and came back for more. At times when I read the posts I do feel that maybe I abuse my tractor alittle compared to other owners, but I bought it to work not to look pretty.
