I have a friend who is looking to get a cab for his grandfather’s L185DT. He has no idea what they would cost. Any ideas? Eather new, or used. Also some one told him this was a gray market tractor, does it cross to an American model? Thanks.

No idea about the cab.

I have an L1501 which is a grey. It is the same as the L185 brought into Australia.

I assume they also brought L185's into the US so I think yours is OK.

Pic od mine attached (Mine is a 2wd = L185 minus the DT)

DT stands for Double Traction = 4x4

Cheers

L185 is not grey market. But it is old. Most parts still available, not sure about the cab.......

Paul, Thanks for the information on what DT stands for. I am a newbie with a GREY MRKT L1500. Thanks to all the posts on here I can piece the puzzle together.

The L1500 I think is the same as the L185. My L1501 has one more set of forward gears = 16 + 4 PTO speeds.
