L21 backhoe hose replacement.

I have an older BT600 Backhoe for my BX22 that has developed a hydraulic leak. Since the leak appears to be in one of the hoses, and they are all original. Should I just replace the 1 leaking hose or (since they're all 18 years old) replace them all to forestall future leaks?

Replace the one. Unless replacing the one requires some major disassembly that would cause other to also be exposed for replacement- this would be unlikely.

The hose that is leaking is buried in the lower arm and will require the hose to be disconnected at the control box, pulled down the lower boom, up the arm, and disconnected from the bucket. Long hose, my concern is that since they are all 18 years old, they may all be on their last legs. I don't want to have to pulling out one hose after another if they're all about done. I've had hoses unexpectedly pop before and they invariably are a mess to fix and replace. I did replace the hoses on the FEL a few years ago one at a time, because they kept failing one after another. Very frustrating and more time consuming. That was only 8-10 hoses, the backhoe is 23 hoses, a good bit more $$ to do them all.

I believe you have answered your own question since you had this problem on the loader I would expect same result on your hoe of hoses continue to fail.
