A lot can be said for the B and BX series Kubota. I put several hundred hours on a BX7100HST with FEL a few years ago and it was a great little tractor. It certainly served it's purpose and never let me down, even thought it sometimes struggled to handle some of the tasks I put it through. I recently decided on a new compact and chose the L series over the B series because of the higher HP rating and heavier lifting capability. I purchased a new L2600DT with FEL and although it lacks hydrostat and a flat floorboard, I sure enjoy the added HP and the ease with which it handles chores around the place. I traded a Ford 1715 2wd (27HP) and quickly realized just how much I missed the extra pulling power of 4wd. I'd forgotten how much difference it really makes. I don't see much reference to the L series out here, so I just wanted to let everyone know that it's a terrific little machine with some nice features of it's own. My next project is to find a good used PTO powered chipper to add to my collection of implements, and to upgrade from a 60" finish mower to a 72" /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
