I seek some help on my friends L2602 machine.

Lately, after two hours work and when reducing the engine revs, a warning light from the 6 lights on the dash panel is coming on. This light has a gear with a solid drop and an other empty drop on the bottom. We surely know that it is Hydraulic oil related, since taking off the wire from both sending units next to the hydr filter makes it glow brighter.

What could be the cause of this warning light coming on after an hours work? the oil level in transmission is correct and recently changed.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Did you change the filter? Are you sure it is the correct filter if you did. Some have different media than original filters. There could have been sediment stirred up when you changed the fluid and it has plugged the filter. There is also a mesh screen in most tractors where the suction line comes out of the transmission. I have seen them clogged with a hair like goo.

Hi m8,
10x for your suggestions. The problem was the Hydraulic filter, since the replacement was not original and must have had different characteristics. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
