Ok, here is the deal. I can't decide on the new Woods 80x or just putting a subframe on my existing 7500. Is the pump a better way to go or figure out a way to plumb it in to the tractor? Nobody even the dealers seem to know how to do it around here! What do I have to do to run hyd. to the backhoe out back. Price is 6K no pump with subframe, 12", good deal? Is it hard to do myself? I need help, pics and drawings!

Kubota has the hydraulic kit that runs from the loader valve (power beyond) to the top of the back axle then there's a hose that runs from the hydraulic block under the R/H step to same spot on axle.
One of the hoses will have a male QD and the other will be female, they connect together when BH is not connected so the rest of the hydraulics on tractor will function.

Here is a thread with pictures of my set up.

Sounds really complicated! All I need is the backhoe hookup, no extra valves for top and tilt and such or do I have to go through all this to do it? I think I just need a continous flow valve that you put a loop in when not in use like a JD, there should be no handles for it right?

this picture will show you exactly how the ports are connected for the backhoe which the dealer installed.

this is an updated copy i put together yesterday (updates thanks to wushaws feedback) - I am still unclear about the first dotted line (hard line) that runs from the block under the r/h foot rest.. i need to look a bit closer at the tractor to make sure that line is represented correctly on the drawing..

How about $6,250.00 installed.
Or you have these options...
The subframe will interchange between the 80 and the 7500 and the price of the subframe is $1,250.00
Woods offers a complete hose kit for your tractor and that is $250.00
The only way I would recommend using the PTO pump is if you are going to be digging for hour upon hours, otherwise you are just wasting your money almost all tractors have enough flow to run off the tractors hydraulic.

I am not trying to steal the thread just curious how much more the 90x with thumb would be with the subframe for 6040 4x4. Thanks Nathan
