Loaf, I am with you. Never too much HP. Just back off on the RPM's if it's a concern. Go with the L3400

I thought I wanted a B7510 until I looked at the L3400.
If all goes according to Hoyle, my new L3400 should be delivered in a couple of days.

L3400, 4x4, Gears
FEL w/ Toothbar
R1 (farm) tires
Rotary Cutter

I called around until I found a dealer who had all of the different tractors in stock that I wanted to look at. My wife (the CFO) and I went to that dealer (even though he was almost two hours away) and did a side-by-side-by-side comparison between the B7510, B7600, B7800, and the L3400.

I ended up buying from my local dealer, but I'm really glad we went and looked at all of them together.

You'll love it! I think the R1s are a good idea. I have the R4s and sometimes wonder whether or not I could use more of the hp with R1s or rear chains. I 'd love to hear how you find the traction. shawn
