- Started with a B-20 Kubota, then B2910, now L2800
Been checking out some new tractors and it's come down between a L2800 or a B3030. First off I have a B2910 with 1200 hours on it and have had no complaints with it other than the three broken front hubs which were taken care of under warranty. I use my tractor in my lawn install business to put in new yards. I mostly use a roto tiller and a yard gill, straw crimper, and move large amounts of dirt with the FEL for this. I like all the options you get with the B3030, but it seems to me the L2800 is a much heavier built tractor and would hold up better under everday use. Is there much difference as far as power than the 3 cylinder the L2800 has or the 4 cylinder the B3030 has. My dealer has offered to trade for $4800.00 for the 2800 and a LA463 loader and the Hydro transmission. I haven't checked on a price for the B3030. Another question. If I get the L2800 would you get a Pats easy change system for the three point hitch. I change implements quite often. I know I will miss the telescopic arms my B2910 has and the nice comfy seat and the tilt steering wheel. Decisions, Decisions What do you guys think? Thanks for any info you may have.
