L2900 Front axle oil

I have a L2900 , just finishing up replacing the seals/O-rings, etc. What is the correct oil to fill the axle with, been told hydralic oil, and also been told 80/90 gear lube? I am in michigan, and the tractor gets used as much in the winter as the summer...

Matt, the factory fill is UDT or Super UDT. The alternative which I often recommend when the seals are starting to weap is the 80-90.

Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Available at the dealerships. It is universal transmission/hydraulic fluid. I prefer the synthetic gear lube. Just a choice. 75w-90 for our cold starts. Same price at 80w-90 gear lube at a farm/rural store near us.

just did this-used kubota udt- a little more but good for 400 more hrs
