I'm looking at a Kubota L3000 tractor with 100 hours. It is in excellent condition and includes a 5' Woods finishing mower and a box blade for $7700. One negative, for me, is it does not have a FEL.
Does this on paper sound like a good deal, a steal, or "about right"? Thanks
That tractor should be plenty for what you want to do. I'm not sure what year it is, but the L3000 was revamped for 2000 and is a good tractor. Live continuous PTO is a must have and I believe 27.5 HP which is plenty. The price sounds excellent if the tractor looks as good as it should for 100 hours, that's nothing. Make sure you check out the 3pt hitch with something heavy on it to make sure it's lifting and holding as it should. Check grease fittings to see if it looks as though it's been maintained properly. Sounds like a good deal overall to me. John
Sounds like a good deal to me. I bought an L2500 a couple of years ago with 50hrs, a 5' woods blade and 5' hog for $9000.00.
I got lucky with my local dealer. They had a Woods loader left over and I got that at a good discount.
Been pretty happy with mine. Could have used the couple more horses that the L3000 has when Hogging. But over all a very good machine. Done everything I have asked of it. (within reason)
Do you need the finish mower? I am loking for one if your close to me. Western Pa
