I don't know if what you are experiencing is what I experienced a year or so ago. . but if it is, it is an easy fix. I posted a similar problem and received the answer here. . posting was under Monkeybreath, but somehow that name was deleted and so I have now signed on differently. Anyway, I parked the tractor one evening and came out the next day and it was stuck in one range, I think L. I could not change it. The post that provided the answer was to take a look down into the slots . . of where you change ranges and see if their was some binding. There appeared to be such. I was told to take something and tap it at or near the point of the binding. I took a rebar and gave it a tap, the binding came undone and it has been fine ever since. It was a 30 second fix. It had nothing to do with the clutch or anything else - just some binding of the levers. Hope this works. . . I was ready to call a mechanic and I live a long way from a mechanic. But this forum solved it.
