I am looking at the L3010 with loader, belly mower and would like to use the R4 tires. The dealer is telling me the R4's won't fit on the this model with the belly mower. I liked the R4's they seemed to be a good choice for my intended uses.

I have 20 acres, mow 5 acres, landscaping and snow removel. Would like some opinions on options. Should I go with AG or turf tires or change to a rear mount deck. Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks

Never heard this before, wonder what limits R4's that is not the case with AG's. Would call another dealer or two, or better yet go to carverequipment.com and see what they offer. While I have the 2710 with R4's (previously turfs--never will go back), not even close to a problem sizing them....

The L3010 is a heck of a lawn mower! Are you sure you need that much tractor? The larger B-series would handle the mowing and snow removal chores just fine, and unless you're talking about really heavy duty landscaping, a 2910 might be something to consider. Not being argumentative here, I have and love my L3010, but it weighs about 1000# more than the 2910, i.e., not as easy on the turf.
