I have been meaning to post this for a while to maybe help out someone else who is struggling to install their MMM on their L3010.
In the past I would normally not have too much trouble putting the four pins in that attach the mower deck. However, every once in a while I just couldn't get all the holes to line up and I would end up struggling with the mower and getting frustrated.
I have found that if I put the right/rear and left/front pin in first (easy to do) and then connect the lift chains and raise the deck about half way that the other two holes will be perfectly lined up and the pins just slide right in no problem. It took me a few times installing the mower to figure out what the right height was to raise the deck but now it is so simple to do.
To remove the deck I lower it about half way and take the right/front and left/rear pins out and then lower the deck the rest of the way and remove the last two pins.
I remove and install my mower about once per week and it takes me less than 5 minutes doing it this way and there is no more frustration.
