Price Check L3130 price - again (info)

Drove 120 miles today and got a 2nd quote on a L3130. Price with the extras I wanted was $19,873 - only $17 different from my 1st quote from a different dealer. Have decided that if I want that tractor, with that configuration, that's what I have to pay. He would upgrade me to a L3340 for an additional $!,000. Now since both dealer are 60 miles away (in opposite directions) have to decide which one to purchase from - maybe flip a coin.

Penokee.

I thought you might find that the price was OK. I often am told how good this price or that price is on things I buy. I find that often they are mixing apples and oranges or just not right.

It is alot of tractor for the price. I don't think you would be dissapointed.

Both of the dealers I think you visited have customers in this area that have been happy with the service they give.

It's a big purchase- good luck with it.

Thanks for the encouraging comments. I plan to purchase in a few days, and am having a little trouble deciding which one, since they both impress me as honest, helpfull dealers.

I bet you can't wait? Hard choices. Maybe the one that specializes in tractors and has a long history is a better bet? Just a thought. In any case, Let me know what happens and if you go for something more than the tractor alone.

Penokee, perhaps you know already, but the MSRPs for the 4WD L3130DT, GST and HST are $15,020, $16,170 and $16,670, respectively. The total list price for all of the items that go into a standard LA723 loader set up is close to $4,400. I have been using this info to determine whether the quotes I have been getting represent decent deals. I have had to work a little to find a dealer willing to move more than a few percent off the list prices. Best of luck in your search.

Don't know how much it will save you but worth a shot. Try out of state, I don't know what you wanted on it but I bought the L3130 HST with Quik release loader for a lot less than that here in North Ga at Goss Tractors. I bought mine through Chris D. at Goss Tractor. Even if you don't use them try buying at dealerships off the Internet. You will save a lot of time and ask them all for the same equipment. Just a thought
