L3130
Good morning all:
I have a L3130 with a 723 Loader with R4. I have been looking at getting a finish mower. I noticed that my neighbor (who also has a L3130 with tractor tires and the smaller loader) is 6 to 8 inches narror than my tractor in the rear. My rims seem wider than his. Is that because my loader is larger?

Thanks Smat

I just bought a 4630 and when deciding between the R4 and ag tires was told the R4 are wider. This is probably what you are seeing as well.

I think that the difference is strictly in the tires and rims. I went with R4s as a compromise between the flotation of turfs and the traction of R1s.

I just measured my L3130 with R4's and and it is 69 inches wide.

Smat:

The R1's called out for the L3130 are 12.4-24's, and the R4's are 420/70-24's, so the R4's are about 4.1" wider than the R1's (420/25.4 - 12.4). The additional difference is likely due to a gauge setting difference from your neighbor's tractor to yours.
