Long time lurker with first post. I just bought a L3130 and have a small problem. While clearing my land today a stick broke my valve stem on rear tire. Can the valve stem be changed without removing tire? How do I go about refilling tire after I get valve stem fixed? Thanks, I have searched but don't seem to have much luck.

Welcome to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
If it's a tubeless tire, yes. If you have R-4's it may be hard to get the side wall pushed away from rim so that you can get your hand inside to remove old stem and install new stem.
Here is a thread on fixing & protecting valve stems. Click Here

They are r-4's with no tubes. What is the easiest way to swap out the valve stems? Anyone have any pics on how they have used valve stem protectors. My dealer doesn't do any tire work. I called a truck/tractor tire place today and they quoted $100 plus /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. This is with me bringing the tire to them.
