We bought an L-3200HST with FEL and QD bucket, loaded tires, blade, box scraper and brush mower for around $21K last fall. I have only managed to put eight hours on it but they have been fun. I think you are priced about right.

That being said, I like to drive as hard a bargain as possible, I got bucket hooks, dual work lights on the ROPS and spacers for the rear wheels at cost, for the price of the spacers. Work lights are handy, they make loading the trailer in the dark a joy.

Use the wiggle room for goodies if possible, it should go farther.

This is a good idea.. if you don't weld, have them weld on some bucket hooks inline with the loader arms. If you can beat them out of a set of wheel spacers if you are getting the R4 tires, as the wheels are not adjustable on those. The spacers will allow more clearance for chains, if you need them. yep the work lights could come in handy. We mentioned the drawbar and clevis, I am not sure if the L3200 comes standard with one or not, but you need one. You are not far off with the $18000 straight up, but there is probably some room left in the deal.. I assume you have decided on the Kubota.. I of course would have come to that conclusion after looking at all the other brands and ruling them out for one reason or another. And if you can't rule them out... Well, perhaps you should buy one of them. But it in your best interest to at least look. I probably should not even stir up this FUD, (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) when you are this close to purchasing, BUT, just so no-one says later, "why didn't you tell me about the possible jerky 3pt hitch".. OK. now I have told you. Call back if you want more information.

Just FYI, posting the exact same question in more than one forum is bad form, and generally frowned upon. It also dilutes the answers available to someone searching on the same topic down the road...i.e. it's better to have all the answers on one topic, in one thread.

It's also considerate towards the folks that post a lot of helpful replies here...it saves them from reading, and replying to the same person's question twice, since many folks don't even look at who the OP is.

I think you can do better. I bought a L3800 last year for$18550 with a hydrostatic transmission. Same tractor as the 3200- just a few extra horsepower. It also has the quick disconnect FEL

I called a different dealer (during a snowstorm). I asked him for a price quote and he obliged. We made the deal over the phone. I stopped by today to give him a deposit and sign the papers.
It is a big price difference. I'm happy with this deal.
