My buddy's 3400 had that same problem and he brought it back to his dealer. They found a crack in the return hose and fixed it for free because they said there was a recall on it.

Sounds as though you will not be needing it BUT...
If you need a 26 mm socket, you can use a one inch, it is almost the exact size as 26 mm. KennyV

I talked with my dealership and they told me the cracked hose is an inherent
problem with the L2800 and the L3400. Factory told them paint on hose was
causing the crack LOL! Dealership says models of tractor below L2800 and above L3400 all have a 90 deg. in the metal suction lines and none the hose crack on these upper and lower models.
Dealerships opinion is the suction vacuum at the 90 deg in rubber hose is
causing the hose to fail; wonder why the don't put a plastic spring inside the
hose hmmm?

Going to put my hose on tractor and get busy have a great day gentlemen

i had a problem with the hydrolic line on the right side of my L2800....it was cracked and sucking air....my FEL was working slow and it was all cause it was sucking air....put a new one on and it was good as new......cost about $21 at the dealer.......
