1.55 vs. 1.57 - Is that enough to be a problem?
My point is that if one wants to "fit" used tires, the most accurate starting point is the front to rear gear ratio. If the tires are close to the OTM specs, then you can play with the variables (tire wear, air pressure, etc...) to get the proper rolling circumference allowing the fronts to turn "positive" by a few percent.
The L3130 lists a couple options for the front tires and I'm not certain that he had the proper ones.
