Tractor
Kubota L3301 / Ford 555E
I just recently joined this forum and figured I would see how the price of my new to me kubota held up.

I just got an 2006 L3400HST 4x4 w/ FEL, has 1750hrs for $9500. It came with a brand new JBAR 5ft box blade and a 60" landscape rake. Tractor looks to be in great shape, no noticeable leaks, the 3pt systems moves fluidly, loader is strong and in good shape. I am moving up from an old 84 B7100HST so I am really excited about the new potential the larger tractor brings.

I think you got a good deal. Putting the implements at 500 bucks, you paid 9 grand for the tractor with loader. People think tractors with 1750 hours are worn out and those can be a great deal. You will get another 2000 hours out of that machine if you take care of it. At 100 hours per year, you're good for 20 years. Not bad, I'd say.

Yes, good deal, no way would I sell my L2800 for that... did it live it's life as a mower?

The past year it has been a lawn ornament, prior to that I am guessing it was used to cut grass.

Congrats Nick.
There were some L2800HST & L3400HST hyd. were jerky at time 3pt hitch also FEL,but other than that your going to like it ALOT.

I went from B7100HST to L2800HST.

Other than the aforementioned "possibly" jerky 3 pt., and some issues with the PTO engagement cables and "possibly" a cracked hydraulic return hose (lower right side of the dash console area- an easy fix), the L3400 is a solid, workhorse tractor. While 1750 hours is not insignificant, it isn't worn out at all, especially if it was maintained properly, and even more especially if used for mostly mowing! Unless you have records of current maintenance, consider changing all the fluids and filters so you have a good starting point for many years of ownership. Not having to deal with the Tier 4 emissions requirements is a plus, too.

That’s a screaming deal. I have a 2009, and have had zero issues with it. I tried to buy used, but I could not find one that wasn’t within a couple grand of new. Zero percent financing sealed the deal.

I have basically the same tractor (2010) L3700SU as yours 600hrs and love it. Agree with others that was a deal.
