Backhoe L3430 With Cab and Backhoe?

I am in the research stage and it appears that you can not get a 3430HST with factory cab and BH90 backhoe. Anyone have a factory cab Kubota and a hoe on the 3430 or 3830? Checking archives I have found a larger Grand L with a Woods hoe (apparently 3ph) that uses an extension. For those that have the factory cab what is your opinions? Is it a worthy 6k add on? I mostly am interested in the cab for snow removal comfort but would like to hear comments about them for finish mowing / brush cutting. I will be mowing a couple acres and rough cutting several also but not as frequently. My snow removal duties usually take 3-4 hours per snow (including all the relatives and friends)(Pennsylvania weather). I am also considering the John Deere 3000 series that is to be coming out soon. Any comments on John Deere 30 - 35 HP compacts with cab and backhoe would also be appreciated.

The cab models can use a non-kubota (it is woods or bradco) sub-frame mounted backhoe with spacers.

In response to your question, I would have to say definitely YES. I have an L3430 with factory cab and think the cab is the absolute best part of the tractor. It's finally snowing up here in Minnesota and I can't wait to get out and blow and move snow in the comfort of my heated cab.

As far as mowing, my rig provides air conditioned comfort in the summer. The cab is great.

Read my Post above! Mine has a CURTIS cab 3k with heater, love the cab. Developed HP at the PTO is way down , check the specs. before you buy. I'm 40 k down and can't use the tractor to brushhog.

I have a L 5030 cab model with a Woods 9000 BH. You will see the 3 1/2" black spacers used to get to hoe away from the tractor (rear window).

I would recommend a curtis or sims cab...this way you can remove it in the summer like a convertable. The make both hard sided & sort sided cabs & you can have a heater installed which I hear works extremely well.

If trees are not a big concern will stick with the A/C in the summer. my .02 cents

Bradco has backhoes with mounts that fit cab tractors. Hope this helps.

When I bought my 3830 the dealer said that I could not get a factory cab for it. So I built one. Its not heated but it is cozy.

454...I own the 3430 HSTC and run the Woods 7500 backhoe with pump...I had to purchase Wood's subframe to fit the backhoe...hoe seatback just clears cab glass....new seatmount hardware was supplied with subframe...seat is adjusted closer to hoe controls...all fits well and works well...very easy to attach and detach hoe from tractor...factory cab is great for snow and mow...I finish mow 10 acres weekly (Wood's RD7200) and brush hog 8 acres twice a year (Wood's M-5)... Snowplow with quick attach Curtis power angle 7'on 723 arms and rear backblade. I really like the set up...ag tires winter..turfs summer.
