L3430HST steering problem?

My L3430HSTC / LA723FEL steering stutters, jerks, does not turn smoothly under weight of bucket full with wet modified (stone & dirt). All is well with 2/3's or less bucket material. Problem occurs as tractor is near stopped, loader stopped and wheels need to go from lock left to lock right or vice-versa...same in forward or reverse....turf tires @ 3o psi. on front. Fluid level OK...110 hours on tractor...operating @ 2700 RPM...no other problems. Anyone else experience this? Any thoughts, suggestions about this? Thanks.

Hi Vince…
You are asking the steering to do TOO much…. The weight along with wide footprint ‘turf’ tires, and not moving. Things are just stuck in place /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif.

I have oversize turf on front and rear of my L4200… If I have a heavy load I make sure I am rolling BEFORE I try to turn. Just takes a little fore thought. KennyV.

The big ag tractor we use when it has a full bucket can't turn lock to lock when stationary and the loader raised. It just makes the relief valve operate. Just rolling a bit makes it fine or having something heavy on the 3 point hitch works too.
