Here is a breakdown of my purchase:

L3430HSTC 4wd cab tractor, R4 tires filled in rear, coolant heater, single remote hydraulics: $21,450.00

L723 Loader, Universal quick attach, 72" bucket w/2 hooks, hydraulics and couplers run from remote to front: $4,500.00

Land Pride FDR1672 rear discharge 3-point mower: $1,650.00

1998 Felling FT18EW 18' trailer: $1,950.00

TOTAL for package: $29,550.00

How does this compare?

It has been a few years since I bought my tractor so not so sure on the prices.

I have the LandPride mower, it works good but after several rocks and sticks, along with a few stumps, it has some problems. I recently saw a few Woods brand mowers and I think they are much much better, and only a bit more money.

When you get some prices, just know there are regional price differences, Texas folks get them cheaper than almost anybody. Also last year or the year before Kubota did a big price increase, of about $1,000. So when some one says two years ago I bought the same set up for $xxxxxx take that inot account.

From my fading memory it does not seem like a bad deal, have you gone to other dealers to get other quotes? Being happy with the dealer and dealer service is more important to me than a hundred or two hundred dollars on a purchase this big.

Also what is the capacity of the trailer? I would think your tractor weighs in at well over 5,000 pounds, so hopefully you have a 10,000 pound trailer, I am guessing the trailer weighs a good 2,000 pounds or so itself.

Actually, the dealer said the whole setup will weigh in at over 7,000lb. The trailer is tandem-axle, both with brakes. It is at least 10,000 capacity. I will be towing with a RAM3500 dually, Cumins Diesel.

I checked prices at two other dealerships, and both came in at over $1,000 more. I got my dealer to throw in the chains and binders when they deliver, so I think I got a pretty good deal.

Isn't that a finish mower? Kinda heavy tractor for finish mowing isn't it? You could pull a 72" finish mower with a B3030

Buy it! Then do not look at any other prices because no matter what you buy or when you buy it, the next week or next month it will always be cheaper.

Since the dealer is throwing in the binders and chains, it sounds like they will be real helpful in the long run.

Go out and enjoy your tractor.

Not that I am trying to spend more of your money, but have you looked at what the hitch on your truck is rated for? On my 03' Ram dually as I recall it was only 7,500 pounds, it got removed and a Tork Lift Super Hitch is there now. My brother has a Chevy Duramax, 04' I believe and his hitch is 7,500.
