Hi all,
I have an older L345DT that is giving me fits - nothing electrical is working. Oil lights wont come on, flashers wont come on, head lights wont come on, never mind trying to start it. I've checked all the fuses and they seem to be good. I've checked the ground connection between the battery and the frame - seems solid. I can check voltage at various points and it seems good. I haven't taken the dashboard apart yet( it's outside and a nuisance). I've been checking the wires that cross the firewall for any mouse chewings but so far no luck. If I wiggle the wires I sometimes hear a clicking from relay that furthest from the heavy duty fuse.

HELP! any ideas as to where to look next???

thanks for any help,
Mark

know nothing about your tractor...

wire harness connections... most likely 1 on engine side of firewall, and 1 some place under floor board or perhaps both in center dash area and right hand side dash area. the wire harness connections can come apart.

double check start switch (off/run/start/lights), it might be bad,

google "relay test" on google. better websites out there that show how to check the relays. more so detailing how to power them up and what connectors on the relay to check. a local automotive store might have relays on hand for the cheap. (hoping relays you have are generic / common relays used in many tractors / vehicles)

============
shop / service manual for your tractor, would have "electrical diagram" showing what wires went to what and color of the wires. along with location of connections / wire harness connectors. you might get lucky and contact local kubota dealer and have them fax / email / print out a copy of electrical diagram for free.

i would assume electrical diagram would give connectors of starter switch of what you would need to feed power and what connectors to check to see if starter switch is good.

I would start with removing battery ground cable and cleaning frame and cable and see what happens. I had similar problems and ground seemed to be good but after removing and cleaning took care of problems.

Thanks Mike - I redid the ground cable and a miracle happened. The lights came on and I was able to start the tractor.

With the switch not on if I flip on the flashers I still hear a rapid clicking noise instead of having the lights come on. I can live with this as long as no damage is happening

Thanks again Mike and boggen for guidance!

Glad that worked for you. Maybe someone will be able to help with the flashers problem.
