That is an excellent price for a ROPS and installation... if I'm reading that correctly... the average installation cost is about $150. and average shipping is $180. per ROPS unit... {and the average cost of an after-market ROPS assembly is about $650...}

So I hope you took advantage of that bargain price... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif {besides being one of the best insurance policies you can buy for a pre-ROPs tractor...}

There's another nice aspect of Kubota's near-give-away rops pricing for that tractor. The 3-point hitch is built so the top link on many implements is too short. The added thickness of the rops where it attaches behind the top link bracket helps with that.

Definitely have the dealer install it if they will - there's some pushing and shoving needed to get all the long bolts to go where they need to.

I agree that's an excellent price for a ROPS. Two years ago we paid $645 for a ROPS from New Holland to fit a Ford 4100. That price included shipping. I had to install it myself.
