A friend of mine has an L35 TLB and has decided after this winter of almost 100" of snow, he wants a snow plow to replace his bucket. I'm trying to convince him that for sure he wants a power angle plow but was just wondering if there is some easy (inexpensive) option to get a hydraulic circuit to the front. I do believe one option is toput a diverter valve on the dump cylinder circuit but do not have specifics.
Thx

Exactly how "inexpensive" are you talking? A diverter would probably be simplest, but after hoses and fittings your looking at about $400-$500 and you might have to do some light fabrication to make a bracket or two. A true 3rd function will most likely be $600 plus in kit form if one is available.

If you scrounge up the parts, you should be able to do it for less than $300, using Surplus Hydraulics or Baileynet .com.

What Kennyd said. The cheapest way would be to only run hoses to the curl function and just use the curl function with no diverter. First set the tilt of the plow, then disconnect and install the angle hoses. I have a couple of $100 electric diverters in stock, probably won't find anything for less $$$.

Do some more research, several ways that this can be done, but again, everything is going to cost some $$. How much $$ comes down to just what it is that is wanted.
