I recently purchased an L35 Tractor/Loader/Backhoe with all the goodies (4in1 bucket, top-n-tilt boxscraper, 60" 3pt mower, and, of course, a 75 bushel manure spreader ! !
It's like being a proud Pa Pa again...showing off to anybody who'll listen and look. Great machine! I've run heavy equipment for a number of years and this unit, while not a Cat brand, really holds it's own in the construction equipment category. The backhoe is super easy to remove and replace.
I've got some sloping land and would like to widen the rear tread base from the 47" to about 60" (approx 6" each side) to make it safer on these side-hills. I think I can swap the front wheels and get about 6" total offset there. (I purchased the "tilt meter" from R&B mfg)
Questions:
1 - Has anybody heard of wheel spacers being available for the L35?
2 - If so, any problems with stress on the axle or bearings?
Please advise, and thanks in advance.
