You know, other then the loader not being detachable, yes, the
L35 would have. The biggest difference is the size of the bucket which I used to haul about 1200 to 1500 yds of material I cut with my 72" boxscraper. The
L35 has GST which in my case would have been a bonus in that my ability to mow with the
L48 was very slow since the
L48's top speed to mow was less then 4 mph at full RPM. In high I could go 17 mph, but no ability to climb hills. In retrospect, the
L35,
L4610 etc., would have been fine. It was fun to use the
L48 for the 1.5 years I had it and it did a tremendous amount of work. Given the size of the
L35's diesel, the GST is squarely suited for it and HST would be a bit of a stretch. Since I did not have the hoe, it's tough to comment about that other then to say feedback on both was very good. For brush hogging and loader use, the
L35 as I see would be quite well suited. The integral loaders are tougher then the removable and definitely don't develop the play that is inevitable at the mount points with a removable loader.
