L3540 HSDCC Rear Window Defrost

I would assume the timer is built into the relay not the switch as with most Japanese designed automotive electrical systems from the 80s-90s. The relay part number is 3F740-75030. Chances are if you pull the roof off and trace the wiring from the defogger switch you will find the relay right near the switch itself. I can't find a picture of the relay but there are 4 wires going to it and chances are it can be replaced with a simple relay of the correct amperage that would stay on with the switch operation. If I had a picture of the connector I could recommend one that would work for you.

I will have to check again with my service manager. Heated mirrors would be nice, but the defrost is more of a priority to me. I do quite a few driveways, and everyone doesn't have limbs trimmed up the way I would like. My mirrors are often knocked out of position by the low branches, so aren't always properly set.
