L3540 or L3800 or CK35 ?

How the 3ph? Is it smooth? That would be the deal breaker for the L3800. :2cents:

I've owned a smaller and larger Kioti (CK20 and DK40se) but haven't operated a CK27/30/35 (all the same except the engine). I've never had an issue with 3PT and frankly cannot recall anyone on the Kioti forum complaining about the 3PT on any of the Kioti tractors.

Just looking at the spec sheets for each tractor, the L3800 hydraulic pump puts out 10.1gpm and the CK35 is rated at 12.8. The 3PT capacities (24inches aft) are 1435lbs and 1764lbs for the L and CK respectively. The CK weighs 3100lbs and the L3800 about 2700lbs in HST model.

Pretty comparable with slightly more HP for the Kubota and more weight and lift capacities for the Kioti.

I will add that the FEL lif specs are within 25lbs of eachother. So up front, there is not realy any "real world" difference.

And I have NEVER even came close to maxing out my l3400's 1400lb rear lift.

But yes, they are real close tractors spec wise. In the real world, there wouldn't be any appreciable differences in these two models. But bottom line, I still think you need to look bigger, like the DK40 and up if you choose kioti or the L4400 or L4240 and up if you choose kubota.

It is really rare to have the lift of the three point challanged! To have more lift then the tractor may weigh or be able to handle will also add other problems.

To run bigger hydraulic pumps then needed to get the job done also costs you to run that extra pump for nothing when using the tractor.

Fuel economy is going to be a bigger issue as the prices keep going up and if you are carrying an extra load you don't need it does cost!!

Some people get really excited over bigger alternators and hydraulic pumps, and like with this case the loader doesn't show that much more performance to be running a larger hydraulic pump everytime you start your engine. Those bigger attachments do cost every time the engine is running.
