L3830 loader 723 question

I have a Kubota L3830 with a 723 Loader on it going to get a tiller 6 ft weighs some where close to 1000lbs I don't have a manual but will my loader be able to lift this off the bed of a pick up thanks these seem really bulky but heard heavier is better in a tiller! Thanks let me know appreciate every ones in put!

When you write "close to 1,000 pounds," I assume you mean UNDER 1,000 pounds.


A Kubota 723 FEL should lift APPROXIMATELY 723 kilograms = 723 X 2.20462 = 1,590 pounds gross from the ground.

Lift capacity decreases rapidly with height, so you will not be far from max lift at tailgate height.

Do NOT lift via clamp-on bucket forks, which will position the load farther out, PROBABLY OVER MAX.

1. Mount at least 800 pounds ballast on tractor Three Point Hitch.

2. Position tractor and truck on solid, smooth, level ground. Set tractor parking brake.

3. Secure the tiller in the bucket with straps, rope or chains so tiller cannot shift.

4. Fasten seat belt. Lift bucket two inches. Stop.

5. Have assistant cautiously drive truck out from under tractor load.

6. Gingerly, lower bucket to the ground. Do not move the tractor even one inch while tiller is in the bucket.

Thanks learn something new every day thanks ya I'm kinda nervous about lifting out of the bed of my pick up I was going to just what you said drive the truck out from under it I have the bigger tires on the back 17.5L x24 and have those loaded with rim guard the only other some what heavy implement I have is brush hog or a rear blade might try to put some more weight on the real blade thank you very much!

Bush Hog extends well back on the Three Point Hitch, providing leverage. It makes good ballast.

Check Bush Hog weight.

Caution when lifting heavy loads with a high ground clearance, unstable tractor is warranted.

Got it done today just have to put tiller together check grease and oil got the 6ft king kutter can't wait to try it out thanks every one Kubota did great and all went good!!!!!
