_Rat_ mentioned warranty work being part of the reason he didn't buy out of state but I don't think that should be a problem. What happens if you move out of state, are you going to trailer your tractor to where you bought it? Get your best deal even if it's out of state then find a good dealer near you. You can still build a good relationship with a local dealer, heck after 3 years your warranty is done and they make most of their money on repair work. In reality these Kubotas require very little service anyway. Maybe I'm just lucky because my local Kubota dealer doesn't care where the tractor they service was perchased.

You are correct. I agree and in fact bought my L48 from Carvers. My local dealer might have found every reason in the world not to repair my L48 had I had a warranty issue, but that never was something that occured. The local guy did find out I purchased mine from out of state and I think he was quite upset, in some ways, understandably so. I purchased my L3830 from him and quite frankly, he was so close in price to out of state internet dealers, it just made sense. We pay sales tax whether we buy through the internet out of state or not. I also agree that the issue of warranty work is hopefully quite rare. I have never needed it. Rat...

The best price I've gotten on an L3830 GST (Ag Tires) is $15,800 with a 723 FEL-HD bucket for $3,900.
