The photos really do not do justice to the L39, the BT1000 BH, or the stump.
That stump has got to weigh over 10,000 pounds and is the size of a VW Beetle, the trunk was about 40-45 inches in diameter and my Husky 372 with a 28" 3/8" chain took two major cuts and full tank of fuel to get through.
I was able to break off all the roots but the root ball itself was encased in solid blue-orange wet clay, what a mess. So I simply dug out another hole adjacent to the stump root ball and flipped it over into the new hole and buried it.
Hurricane Frances blew the top off this oak last September with about 85mph winds taking the crown off. I burned that one up back then but now have about twenty other stumps to remove and burn.
The L39 is a perfect additon to our farm!

To my great loving wife who trusted me to operate the backhoe carefully with her down 10 feet into the hole taking the pics with my Nikon.

What a nice setup you got there. Boy, I can only imagine things I could accomplish with that BH. Awesome.

Those photos certainly lend a different perspective on stump digging. I'm wondering on what world you live that's so small, or perhaps where you got a tractor the size of Asia.
