I remember my
L48 used larger lines for the loader. I believe they were 1/2". It did not make the laoder any faster, if anything it was slower, but then, the cylinders were much bigger then my
L3830 and of course, it had considerably higher lift height. The quick coupler on the back to the swing was quite large. I know they say to go up to the next size on quick couplers because of the flow restriction they impose. At any rate, you guys certainly have gotten your
L39's well equipped. Its really nice to see folks getting them set up so well. I will have to take a close look someday at a
L39 at my dealer. I know even before it came out, the head mechanic there was quite enthusiastic about them.
So where is the other hydraulic pump located? I assume the main pump and power steering pump are housed in the same body. I know a rental yard had an issue with the
L35 consistantly breaking the shaft coupling coming off the front of the
L35 engine connecting to the 3rd pump. Apparently, that is not where the
L39's pump ties in.
